Meet the client
FleishmanHillard is a global marketing and public relations agency and a long-standing Brandpoint partner. One of their clients, Emerson Electric, is a manufacturing company that manufactures products and also provides engineering services for industrial, commercial and consumer markets.
Situation
FleishmanHillard came to Brandpoint on behalf of their client, Emerson. Emerson wanted to position themselves as a thought leader in the sustainability industry and grow their credibility as a sustainable brand. Their product, InSinkErator, decreases food waste and Emerson wanted to tell that story while emphasizing the importance of sustainability.


Strategy
The Brandpoint team decided to implement the Premium Business MAT Release to support Emerson’s goals. The Premium Business MAT Release offers a wide range of publications to place Emerson’s article in and also promotes the article on the front page of a publication’s business section.
Execution
To gain credibility and position Emerson as a thought leader, Brandpoint worked closely with the FleishmanHillard to put together a bylined article that could then be distributed using the Premium Business MAT Release offering.
